Custom ERP Development
One system, designed around how your business actually runs.
We study your departments, document how work genuinely moves between them, and build a platform that matches it — with the roles, approvals, terminology and reports your organisation already uses.
- Process study before module list
- Phased delivery
- Cloud or on-premise
- Long-term support
The Short Version
What a customised ERP actually means
A customised ERP is not a package with a few fields renamed. It is a system whose data model, screens, approval rules and reports are derived from a documented study of your operation — including the exceptions that every real business runs on.
That distinction matters most in process-heavy organisations. A coil balance, a cutting plan, a scheme calculation or a duty roster is not a variation on a standard field; it is the mechanism by which the business earns its margin. Software that approximates it forces your team back into spreadsheets, which is exactly the situation you were trying to leave.
We build the system to hold those mechanisms properly, connect them across departments, and leave the organisation with something documented, maintainable and genuinely owned.
What Gets Built
The functional areas of the platform.
Scope is agreed after discovery. Nothing on this list is compulsory — it is the range we build from, not a package you are asked to take whole.
Core platform and master data
The foundation everything else depends on: a clean master structure, a permission model that reflects your authority matrix, and an audit trail that makes every action traceable.
- Company, branch, warehouse and department structures
- Customer, vendor, item, and rate master management
- Role-based access control with field-level permissions
- Custom approval hierarchies with escalation and delegation
- Complete audit trail on creation, amendment and cancellation
- Document numbering, series and financial period control
Inventory and procurement
One stock ledger across every location, fed by transactions rather than corrected by periodic counting — and a purchase process with accountability built into it.
- Multi-warehouse, multi-branch and multi-company stock
- Batch, lot and serial number tracking
- Stock transfers with in-transit visibility
- Reorder levels, ageing and slow-moving analysis
- Purchase requisitions, comparative quotations and approvals
- Goods receipt, quality acceptance and vendor rating
- Physical verification with variance reporting
Sales, quotation and order management
Approved rates applied consistently, revisions tracked, and credit checked before a commitment leaves the building.
- Rate lists by product, customer category, territory and validity
- Quotation versioning with reasons recorded
- Margin visibility restricted to authorised roles
- Credit limit and outstanding validation at order confirmation
- Order to dispatch tracking with delivery commitments
- Customer-specific terms, schemes and discount rules
Dashboards, reporting and analytics
The end of the monthly compilation exercise. Management sees the position on demand, and can drill from a summary figure to the document behind it.
- Role-based dashboards for directors, heads and supervisors
- Consolidated views across branches and companies
- Exception and variance reporting
- Scheduled reports by email or WhatsApp
- Drill-down from summary to source transaction
- Export to Excel and PDF for auditors and partners
Mobile applications and PWAs
The people who generate the data are rarely at a desk. Field and shop-floor access keeps the system current instead of catching up in the evening.
- Salesperson application for enquiries, orders and collections
- Supervisor application for production and attendance entries
- Approval on the move for discounts, purchases and dispatch
- Progressive web applications that tolerate weak connectivity
- Dispatch and delivery confirmation with proof of receipt
- Management dashboards sized for a phone
Deployment, security and continuity
How the system is hosted, secured, backed up and recovered is decided during architecture — not improvised after go-live.
- Cloud deployment, or on-premise where policy requires it
- Encrypted transport and access logging
- Scheduled backups with tested restoration
- Documented APIs for future integrations
- Environment separation for testing and training
- Handover documentation for your own IT team

Service Catalogue
Everything Beyond Papers builds and supports.
Engagements are usually a combination of these rather than a single item. If what you need is not listed, it is still worth asking — the underlying capability is often already here.
Core Platform Development
The systems that hold the operation together — designed, built and owned by your organisation.
- Custom ERP Development
- A tailored enterprise platform covering the departments you actually run, with the approval hierarchy, terminology and reporting your team already uses.

- Pipelines, quotations, follow-up discipline and customer history built for the way your sales team sells — not a generic contact database.
- Lead Management Systems
- Automatic capture from your website, Meta and Google campaigns and WhatsApp, with assignment rules, reminders, ageing and conversion reporting.
- Custom Software Development for Other Industries
- Process-heavy operations outside our named industries — distribution, field services, institutional projects, retail chains and project management.

How We Work
Four commitments that decide whether this succeeds.
Most ERP projects fail for organisational reasons rather than technical ones. These are the practices that address the common causes.
We map before we build
Discovery produces a written process map your own team can correct. No module is proposed until that map is agreed.
We deliver in phases
The first release covers the departments where the pain is sharpest, so results arrive before the full scope is complete.
Your users approve the screens
The storekeeper and salesperson review a working prototype. Corrections at that stage cost a conversation, not a rebuild.
We stay after launch
Support through the first month-end and stock verification, then enhancements on an agreed roadmap.
Questions
Custom ERP Development — what clients ask first.
Still deciding whether this is the right route?
A discovery conversation costs nothing and carries no obligation. We will tell you plainly if a package would serve you better.
Book a consultationNo, and usually you should not. Tally or your existing accounting system can remain authoritative for the books while the ERP owns operational documents, with integration keeping the two aligned. That is often the most economical arrangement.
Yes. Most engagements begin with two or three departments — commonly sales and inventory, or production and dispatch. The architecture is designed for the full picture even when the first release covers part of it.
Ownership terms are agreed in writing before development begins, including source code, documentation and data. We will set out exactly what you hold at the end of the engagement rather than leaving it implicit.
That expectation is built into how the system is structured and documented. Enhancements continue under a support or AMC arrangement, on a roadmap agreed with you rather than dictated by a vendor release cycle.
